1. Warranty conditions
- The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase, but not more than thirty-six (36) months from the warehouse dispatch date stated in ONAMI warranty records.
- Customers must activate electronic warranty by scanning the QR code on the product card or registering at baohanh.onami.vn within fifteen (15) days of purchase. Late registration may result in reduced or denied coverage.
- The warranty covers manufacturing and technical defects attributable to ONAMI, including but not limited to motors, circuit boards, electronic components, and internal wiring, when the product fails under normal use.
- Coverage applies only when the product is used correctly, for its intended purpose, and in accordance with the user manual, safety instructions, and voltage or power requirements printed on the product or packaging.
- During the warranty period, ONAMI will repair the product or replace defective parts free of charge, including labour at authorized service centres. If repair is not economical, ONAMI may replace the unit with a new or equivalent refurbished product of equal function.
- The warranty period for any replacement part or replacement unit continues from the original purchase date, not from the date of repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
- ONAMI may request proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or e-invoice) and verification of registration details before approving warranty service.
2. Non-warranty conditions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- The product has not been activated according to ONAMI instructions, registration information is incomplete or inaccurate, or the product ID on the card does not match ONAMI records.
- The product has been disassembled, repaired, modified, or had components replaced by any person or organization not authorized by ONAMI, including removal or alteration of seals, labels, or serial markings.
- Damage caused by external events or force majeure, including animal damage, lightning, unstable or incorrect power supply, fire, flood, earthquake, war, riots, or similar events beyond ONAMI’s control.
- Normal wear and tear from ordinary use, including but not limited to reduced battery capacity over time, wear or tearing of fabric or padding, colour fading, surface scratches, scuffs, and cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function.
- Accessories supplied with the product—such as massage heads, carrying bags, straps, cables, adapters, or promotional gifts—unless a separate written warranty applies to that item.
- Damage from misuse or improper handling, including failure to follow the user manual, drops or impacts, improper installation or storage, exposure to water, liquids, dust, sand, insects, or foreign objects entering the product.
- Use of non-ONAMI or incompatible accessories, chargers, batteries, or consumables that cause damage or malfunction.
- Unauthorized firmware or software changes, or use of the product for commercial, rental, or industrial purposes without ONAMI’s prior written approval.
- Loss, theft, or disappearance of the product after delivery to the customer.
3. Electronic warranty registration
To activate coverage, complete the online registration form at baohanh.onami.vn or by scanning the QR code on your warranty card. You must enter the product ID printed on the card and provide accurate contact details (full name, email, and phone number).
Each product ID may be registered only once. Registration must be completed within fifteen (15) days of purchase. ONAMI stores registration data to verify eligibility when you submit a warranty claim.
Optional fields such as store name or notes may help us process your registration faster but are not required to activate the warranty.
4. Warranty service procedure
- Contact ONAMI customer support with your registered product ID and a description of the defect.
- Provide photos or video of the issue, proof of purchase, and any additional information requested by our support team.
- Follow instructions for diagnosis, pickup, drop-off, or shipment to an authorized service centre. Do not send products until you receive a return authorization when required.
- After inspection, ONAMI will confirm whether the case is covered under warranty and advise repair, part replacement, or product exchange.
- If damage is found to result from excluded causes (see Section 2), ONAMI may decline warranty service or offer paid repair at your option.
5. Remedies and limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ONAMI’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the product as described above. ONAMI is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of data, revenue, business interruption, or loss of use.
Shipping costs for warranty service may be borne by ONAMI when the defect is confirmed as covered. If the product is returned without a confirmed defect or due to excluded causes, the customer may be responsible for inspection and return shipping fees.
6. Transfer and policy updates
This warranty applies to the original registered owner and is non-transferable unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
ONAMI may update these terms from time to time. The version published at baohanh.onami.vn at the time of your registration governs your product.
7. Legal rights
These terms do not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law in Vietnam or your place of residence. Where local law provides greater protection, those provisions prevail.
